Professional and Personal Interests: 

I was graduated from three famous universities in China and awarded degrees of MD/DDS, PhD and MSc separately after having studied for total eleven years. I have had three more years of postdoctoral experience in China on Tissue Engineering and Adult Stem-cell research as well as one year visiting scholar in Leeds University, UK. I had been a senior surgeon and professor in the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery of a general hospital and a hospital of stomatology. I had been responsible personally for three projects granted by National Natural Science Foundation of China and was appointed as a supervisor of PhD Students before I left China in 2007. My surgery, microsurgery skills and past experience have given me great advantages in the experiments on different animals. I have successfully created preclinical study models of acute myocardial infarction, hind limb ischemia, carotid artery bypass anastomosis, destabilization medial meniscus arthritis, femur fracture fixation etc on various animals since I worked for REMEDI, NUIG in August of 2008. I actually have been promoted to senior technical staff since December 2014.
