Research Day

Members of the public will have the opportunity on Thursday, 11 April from 10.30am to see academics and researchers from NUI Galway's Colleges of Engineering and Informatics and College of Science, and the University of Limerick present ideas that could lead to new discoveries and innovations. This day-long event being held in the Bailey Allen Hall of NUI Galway is free to attend.
Highlights of this year’s joint event between NUI Galway and the University of Limerick include more than 200 research poster presentations by researchers from NUI Galway and the University of Limerick. The event will showcase some of the cutting edge research being carried out by engineers, and scientists across several diverse disciplines from energy, biomedical, ICT, civil, mechanical, chemical, mathematical and physical sciences to the biological sciences.
