Managing a Research Project
Once an award has been accepted, it enters the post-award phase of administration. Research Support Services’ involvement in this phase is handled through the Research Accounts Office. A dedicated Research Accounts Administrator is allocated to each research project. This person will be the single point of contact for all post-award financial reporting matters relating to the research grant or contract.
Day to day account activity(purchase orders, expenses etc) are managed centrally by the Financial Accounting Office). Please note that local administration services should be contacted for advice on matters relating to expenditure (staffing and purchases) and non-financial reporting, at least in the first instance
