Visits to Applied Optics Group at NUI Galway

Open Days

The format for these days consists of visits by students who are interested in undergraduate studies. The post-graduate and post-doctoral members of our Group are on hand to discuss career options and opportunities in Science. Over 3000 students visited the University in April 2010 on that one day.

Galway Science and Technology Festival

Held every year for the past 12 years, this year 2010 will be held in NUI, Galway and officially opened by Ms. Maire Geoghegan-Quinn EU Commissioner for Research, Innovation and Science. We as a Group have been involved in the planning and running of this festival since 2004.
