meitheal
Meitheal is a discussion group for post graduates. Its speakers are usually those involved in writing a thesis and it gives an opportunity to present a work in progress, or a particular section of research, for discussion. Visiting scholars from abroad also regularly present papers that they are working on. The exploratory nature of the discourse often leads to some lively debate.
Meitheal take place in the Seminar Room, Centre for Irish Studies at 2.00pm unless otherwise stated.
