Entry requirements for the BA in Community and Family Studies

Applicants for the programme should meet the University’s requirements for mature students i.e. be over 21 years of age at time of applying. Formal academic qualifications are not required to commence the BA in Community and Family Studies.  Students are selected following an assessment process that may include an interview.

Entry requirements for the Certificate or Diploma in Community Development Practice

Candidates normally have experience of working in a community or voluntary organisation. There are no special educational requirements for entry to the course. Selection of students will be made on the basis of informal interviews following completion of an application form. Numbers accepted on this course will be limited.
