Once you have made any amendments, you need to select the content and republish your profile to the web for the changes to take effect.
When will my profile appear on the web?
After you publish your profile in the system for the first time, it will then be validated by an administrator in your institution. Once your profile is validated it will then be published to the institution’s website. Each subsequent publish that you do on your profile will not go through the validation process.
Any changes made to a published profile in IRIS will be updated to the website on a nightly basis. The Google search facility on the People page will take an average of one week to find newly added profiles, or to fully remove old records and links from its index.
