• FP7 Artemis call for proposals ARTEMIS-2013-1
  European Commission Framework Programme 7 (becoming Horizon 2020): Cooperation
  Funding supports industry-driven research projects, in the field of embedded computing systems, that aim to generate new and improved technologies and apply them in products, processes or services, in order to strengthen the competitiveness of European industry, improve sustainability and facilitate the emergence of new markets and applications that respond to societal needs. The budget for this call is approximately €72.29 million.

• PhD bursaries for studies relating to the 1912-1923 period in Ireland
  Universities Ireland
  These support students taking a PhD on a topic relating to the 1912-1923 period in Ireland, the decade of the First World War and the division of the island into the states of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Two bursaries, worth €20,000 each, are available for the academic year 2013-14.

• Research training fellowships for medical, dental and veterinary graduates
  Wellcome Trust
  These support medical, dental, veterinary or clinical psychology graduates who have little or no research training, but who wish to develop a long-term career in academic medicine. Fellowships provide research expenses and salary for a period of two to three years. Closing date: 01 Jul 13
