The Centre for Health from Environment (CHE) recognises the dependence of human health on our environment, and it promotes the concept that health and well-being is the most important resource that we derive from our environment.
The Centre’s on-going and planned research is organised into for thematic areas:
- Air Quality and Health
- Health, Food and Soil
- Health from Environment and Public Policy
- Water Quality, Sanitation and Health
The centre brings together interdisciplinary researchers from the areas of medicine, science, engineering, political science, geography and other disciplines who are all working together to place sustaining health through environmental stewardship at the centre of public policy.
