Centre for International Development Innovation (CIDI)
Our Mission
The NUI Galway Ryan Institute's cross-cutting Centre for International Development Innovation (CIDI) employs a unique pluralistic model that combines academics, researchers, and development professionals working on international development topics or activities involving research, education, and/or innovations in partnership with developing countries. The Ryan Institute CIDI is working with developing country partners globally, in pursuit of the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
CIDI recognizes that the SDGs are universal and indivisible. CIDI is committed to education, research, and innovation activities that act as enablers for transforming our world in line with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. CIDI will work with partners worldwide to strive to ensure that no one is left behind, and will endeavor to reach the furthest behind first.
