General Information
General Information
All lectures 2020/21 will be online and recorded (some for 3rd and 4th yrs may also be delivered face to face in a theatre).
All lectures begin the week of the 28th of September 2020.
Labs 2020/21
1st Year: CH101 (begin the week of the 26th of Oct)
Students will have 8 weeks of labs per semester (starting on week 5 semester 1). Four of these labs will be in the 1st year laboratory and the other four will be online (every 2nd week online). CH101 Course Information 2020/21
Students will have labs 1 day per week for CH204 (semester I) and CH205 (semester II), every second week for CH203 (Semester I) and CH202 (semester II). 2nd year Timetable 2020/21
Lab Prerequisites: Safety glasses, White lab coat (students union shop) and Lab manual (online)
Safety glasses, laboratory coat and face coverings (Face masks [not visor] are required, should a student have an issue which prevents them using a facemask they should engage with the course director to determine if a visor is appropriate or if another accomodation is required) Face coverings should be worn at all times during the practicals. Laboratory coats and safety glasses cannot be hired or borrowed anymore so students must come to the laboratory with their own. Should a student arrive at a practical without their own mask/glasses/coat, they will not be allowed to carry out the practical and, as such, will be given an unauthorized absence.
