Girls into Geoscience Irelend event

The second ever Girls into Geoscience Ireland event is taking place on Saturday November 10th at National University of Ireland, Galway. This free, one day event introduces female secondary school and early stage university students to Earth Sciences and demonstrates the world of careers available to geoscience graduates.
Following on from the great success of the inaugural event earlier this year at UCC’s School of BEE’s, the second instalment of this great event is being led by Earth and Ocean Sciences post-doctoral researcher Dr Aoife Blowick (EOS - iCRAG) and Dr Fergus McAuliffe (iCRAG), in collaboration with Earth and Ocean Sciences (EOS, NUIG), the Irish Association for Women in Geosciences (IAWG) and the Geological Survey of Ireland (GSI).
This free one day event is open to all female students – come along and explore all the amazing opportunities awaiting you in geoscience! Book your space today to secure your place here.
