Keith Lyons
CoS PhD Scholar
Keith works on the ecology and evolution of venom. Through summer internships in Dr Michel Dugons venom lab he has worked with the invasive False Widow spider and investigated the venoms of Irish centipede species. In 2019 he joined the Macroecology lab to work on the evolution of prey-specific venom across the animal Kingdom. His work will entail Field work investigating the venoms of False widow spiders and their relatives along with larger comparative analysis of venoms spanning the entire Animal Kingdom.
