PhD Student in Sponge Genomics

Kenneth Sandoval‌Kenneth completed his MSc in marine biotechnology at Wageningen University under the supervision of the sponge biotechnologist Dr. Shirley Pomponi. He went on to finish an internship in the laboratory of the sponge taxonomist Dr. Paco Cárdenas at Uppsala University. He joined NUI Galway as a PhD candidate under the supervision of Dr. Grace McCormack and is funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Innovative Training Network IGNITE – Comparative Genomics of Non-model Invertebrates.
