Project Abstract
The development of natural resources has been a key facet of the debate on sustainable rural development. It has been widely assumed that managing natural resources sustainably depends on co-operation between the relevant parties or interests. This study explores the dynamics of co-operation (and the obstacles to its achievement) in the context of one of Ireland's major aquacultural sites, Killary Harbour.
