The NUIG Narrative Studies Group hold a monthly reading and discussion group and welcomes scholars interested in understanding narrative theory, practice and potential in and across education, humanities, social sciences, health and therapeutic sciences. A diversity of creative and methodological approaches combined with an interest in recent and not so recent scholarship guides our selection of texts. Each month a book, article, study is selected by a member to guide our discussions and musings. This year we are working with 'classical' accounts of the theory and practice of narrative. If you wish to join our mailing list and wish to receive a copy of the readings (when possible) please do contact us. You can participate in the reading group by sending your comments by e-mail before the meetings.
Time and place for each meeting: 2.30-4.30 pm, Room 303, Floor 2, Aras Moyola, School of Political Science and Sociology, NUIG
All are welcome.
