UNDERGRADUATE COURSES

Introduction

The School offers an opportunity unique in Ireland to study a combined programme of political science and sociological studies.

Since our foundation in 1967, we have developed an extensive and highly-reputed teaching and research expertise. The School prides itself on its accessible, inclusive and stimulating learning environment for all students.

We offer four undergraduate programmes:

• BA in Political Science and Sociology
• BA CONNECT with Global Women’s Studies
• BA in Environment and Society/Youth and Family Studies
• BA in Public and Social Policy

Blackboard

Lecture notes and detailed course information for a wide range of courses in the BA in Political Science and Sociology are available through Blackboard. Students have access to these materials once they have registered for courses.

Visiting/overseas students

Visiting/overseas students will find the selection of courses in Political Science and Sociology listed in the Visiting Student Handbook. Please note that it is not safe to select courses from the departmental website, which displays courses from various programmes.
