The Latin American New Left: Towards a Post-Neoliberalism?

This talk focuses on the significance of what the New Left is trying to achieve in Latin America, and, in particular, it asks whether what is happening is a move beyond neo-liberalism. It surveys the emerging academic debates in Latin America on the phenomenon before looking in some detail at the elements common to the left-wing governments in different countries.
