Profile

As a University Teacher in the Discipline of Spanish my main responsibility is the teaching of applied language for Commerce and the preparation of up-to-date materials, both written and audiovisual, based on current affairs. As a direct result of my teaching activities, I am interested in research into socio-economic and political issues in Spain since the Second Republic. I am co-author (with Chris Ross and Bill Richardson) of Contemporary Spain, 3rd ed. (2008). I also teach translation from English into Spanish in the final year of the BA and MA programmes.
