Course rationale:	To ensure that all workers involved in construction/maintenance have a knowledge of health and safety and are competent to work safety on-site.
Target group:	Buildings and Maintenance staff or those who in the course of their work are required to visit a building site.
Content:	Promoting a safety culture, Duties and responsibilities at work, Accident Reporting and Prevention, Working at Heights, Exvacations and confined spaces, Working with Electricity, underground and overhead services, PPE and more.
Prerequisites:	There is a €23.00 fee in respect of FÁS registration and issue of Safe Pass card which must be borne by your College/School/Discipline/Section and details of budget code and authorisation will be requested in advance of training. A passport photo is also required for the issue of FAS Safe Pass card.
Introduction:	Two weeks notice is required to cancel a place on this course.
