As one of Ireland's leading Universities, NUI Galway welcomes applications from Saudi students who wish to undertake their undergraduate or postgraduate education abroad. Ireland is known as a welcoming country and Galway in particular offers a safe and friendly environment for students from all cultural backgrounds. NUI Galway has a long tradition of welcoming Muslim students and is well equipped to serve the religious and personal needs of all our Muslim students.

Pathway/Foundation Programmes

Students who do not meet the University’s usual English language requirement, or who may benefit from a
year of language and study skills training before commencing their university studies, may be required to undertake a pathway programme prior to entering NUI Galway.

NUI Galway works with a number of specialist language schools and international foundation programme
providers both in Ireland and overseas.
