Late Payment Fines

Late payment penalty applies in cases where fees payable by the student are paid after the notified payment date. 

Tuition fees for students who are not eligible for 'free fee payments' can pay their fees in full prior to registration or in two equal instalments.  50% prior to registration and the remaining 50% prior to the 7th January 2012.  If fees are not paid in full on time the following penalties apply:

Late Payment Penalty:
A late payment penalty applies in cases where fees payable by the student are paid after the notified payment date.   The amount of this penalty is €200 if first instalment of fees, or full fee in the case of student paying the non-tuition fee, is not paid before the official date of registration.

A further €200 penalty is payable if the second instalment of fees is not paid by 7th January 2012.

Late Registration Penalty:
A late registration penalty applies in cases where students are admitted after the appropriate registration date, and is in addition to the late payment penalty.   The amount of this penalty is €200, and is payable before registration can be proceeded with.

The late payment penalty and late registration penalty are cumulative.
