Student Residences

There are now nine Student Residences providing self-catering housing specifically for NUI Galway students.  Of these, Corrib Village is on campus and the others are within easy reach of the campus.

Located only minutes from the main University buildings (which can be accessed via a free shuttle bus), Corrib Village offers students comfortable and affordable accommodation as well as a wide range of on-site facilities such as a shop, laundrette, common room and 24-hour security. Residents at Corrib Village also have the option to apply as Residential Assistants, who work with the Corrib Village team and organise a wide range of events for students throughout the academic year. Not only is it a great way to get to know other students but Residential Assistants also receive €1000 in remuneration each semester (€2000 in total). Why not apply?

Please Note

Incoming students wishing to book a place in any Student Residence are advised to do so as early as possible, preferably when filling the CAO form.  Application Forms, information and costing for residency are available directly from the respective resences.

There are also two smaller Residences which provide full board accommodation
