Building the future careers event

A unique, intensive careers event for students and graduates with disabilities/specific learnng difficulties. Students and graduates will have the opportunity to polish their job seeking skills and get important tips and advice on successfully adjusting to the world of work and building a fulfilling career.
Events on the day include; Workshops, CV Clinic, Mock Interviews, Employer Exhibition Area.

Exam accommodations Semester 2
In order to receive your exam accommodations for Semester 2, end of term exams, you need to complete the Exam Accommodations Application Form and return it to the DSS office by Wednesday, 27th March.
You also need to include your Personal Exam Timetable and your LENS.

Spring Exams Session 11-22nd March
Attention all students, you must return a competed TSN form confirming your exam accommodations, with a copy of your personalised exam timetable, to the Disability Support Service by Friday 22nd February, if you are registered for the Spring Exam Session.

NOTE:
-Check your online exam timetable for amendments
- If the exam requires the use of specialist software, like AutoCAD, sit the exam in the venue and at the time allocated to your class group.
Email your completed TSN form with your personal exam timetable to
martha.higginsnuigalway.ie, or drop them in to DSS office in Áras Uí Chathail, Monday to Friday between 9.15-12.30 or 2.00-4.00.

Free Academic Writing Tutorials
The Academic Writing Centre (AWC) is delighted to invite you to attend one of the free individual tutorilas on Acadmeic Writing. Thanks to the support of the Disability Office, AWC have created appointment times which can be booked in advance.
The tutorials take place in the Consultation Room (beside the entrance to the AT area) of the James Hardiman Library on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays at 6pm and 6.30pm.
