Welcome to the Disability Support Service

The shared vision of Student Services which inspires our actions is:

'Every NUI Galway student will be supported to actively engage with the university experience to maximise their potential for learning and leadership for life and work.'

NUI Galway postively values the participation of students who have a disability, illness or specific learning difficulty and promotes a university experience of the highest quality for all students.

The Disability Support Service promotes inclusive practices throughout the campus community and we are committed to the provision of an equitable learning environment that will enable all students to become independent learners and highly skilled graduates. Currently, we provide supports to 461 students who are registered with our service.

Monday to Friday 09:30am - 12:30am and 02:30pm - 4:00pm
