Welcome to the wonderful world of societies!

With over 85 active societies there is literally something for everyone. As part of a society you can learn new skills, explore your interests, create a community of friends with similar interests and goals and of course have great fun. It could not be easier to join and even if you have missed Societies’ Day just pick out the societies that interest you and send them an e-mail or go to one of the meetings.

	Want to be in charge? You can also add yourself to any societies e-mailing or text list in ’Your Space’ and tailor fit your extra curricular activities to suit your interests. Whats Going On? The ’ What’s Happening Guide’ is a weekly e-mail of society events delivered to your in-box when you join a society you are added to this list, you can subscribe or unsubscribe yourself at the link on the Societies Website.
	If you prefer the personal touch call to the societies office for a chat, my door is always open. Want to set up a New Society: If you have an idea for a new society I would love to hear all about it. You can download an application form for setting up a new society here.

In order to assist the Societies of the University in fulfilling their aims and in doing so to develop and facilitate social and community life in the University, thwe University's Societies' Committee (USC) has been constituted.
