What happens at my first meeting with my Mentor?

You will be matched with your mentor after the orientation meeting, the dates of which have been sent to you in the post.  Your first meeting will involve meeting your Mentor and a new group of first year students from the same College. You will be brought on a tour of the campus followed by a cup of coffee and a chat with your mentor and fellow students. Feel free to ask you mentor any questions you might have about the orientation or college during this meeting.

Your mentor will organise another meeting with you and your group around the 4th week of term, just to check in with you to see how things are going.

How Often can I contact my mentor and what can I contact them about

You can contact your mentor as little or often as required.  However, your mentor will text you at least twice a semester either by text, or email.  Even if things are going well please remember that your mentor is concerned about all of the group and a reply text just telling them that all is going well would be appreciated by the mentor.

What can I contact my Mentor about?

No issue is too small or too big to contact your mentor.  The following are examples of some of the issues you can contact your mentor about:
