Undergraduate Research
Students are invited to undertake funded research projects for 6-12 weeks during the summer months. Research may be laboratory based or clinically related. Student research is presented at the annual
College of Medicine & Health Sciences Research Meeting in October.
Funding may be provided from various agencies. Look out for notices in the CSI for further details.
Maria Duignan, Medical Student, was awarded 3rd place in the Watts Medal Prize for her HRB sponsored work which she undertook in the Discipline of Surgery in Summer 2011.
