TTI - Introduction

Collaboration between companies and the third level sector is internationally recognised as a proven path to successful innovation. The objective of the collaborative initiative is to drive an on-going innovative cultural shift by promoting and encouraging a transfer of technology between Ireland's public knowledge providers and the business community.

This initiative is designed to develop and extend the range and level of innovative research and development undertaken by industry with the universities in their region.

There is an urgent need to transform industry within Ireland and to make gradual changes in it's innovation and productivity so that it can reposition itself to bring increasingly more sophisticated customer focused products and services to a highly competitive global marketplace.

The TTI project is designed to harness the collective resources and knowledge of NUI Galway and to facilitate innovation within regional companies and the university.
The team provide a gateway for Irish companies to engage in R&D projects to enhance competitiveness.
