innovation voucher

The objective of the Innovation Voucher initiative is to build links between Ireland's public knowledge providers and small businesses and create a cultural shift in the small business community's approach to innovation. These vouchers are worth €5000 to a business who wishes to engage with a knowledge provider to conduct a specific piece of work. This piece of work is given to the knowledge provider in a work plan.

These work plans are submitted through the TTO to provide the suitable expertise internally to carry out the work. NUI Galway has numerous centers of excellence and supports many Innovation vouchers on an ongoing basis between industry and academia. These vouchers are extremely helpful and often provide the first engagement between Industry and a third level institute.
