Research has shown that entrepreneurial skills can be taught and that this teaching is best carried out using new and innovative techniques quite unlike the traditional didactic lecturing approach.
The ACE Initiative aims to embed these approaches to learning across disciplines to create the entrepreneurial graduate using the following four areas:
Accelerating Campus Entrepreneurship (ACE) Initiative is a joint collaboration of Institute of Technology Blanchardstown, Cork Institute of Technology, Sligo Institute of Technology and National University of Ireland Galway led by Dundalk Institute of Technology.
The implementation of the ACE Initiative will lead to a profound shift in how higher education institutions encourage and assist students to become the next generation of entrepreneurs in Ireland.
