How to Apply

University of Galway does not accept direct applications for our medical programme from International (Non-EU/UK) applicants. International (Non-EU/UK) applicants to Medicine should apply though our agencies, depending on your geography.  International (Non-EU/UK) applicants should get in touch with the relevant agent to see if they will welcome an application from them. They will advise you on the entry criteria. The contact information for these agencies is listed below:

  • For Government Scholars from Saudi Arabia and Oman please contact your local Cultural Bureau/Embassy directly, or Castel Education (tracy@casteleducation.com) for initial enquiries
  • For non-Government Scholars (private applicants) from the Gulf countries (excluding Kuwait), the wider Middle East Region and Africa please contact Castel Education tracy@casteleducation.com  
  • Applications from Government sponsored and Non-Government (private) sponsored students, that hold Kuwaiti Citizenship, are managed directly by the Kuwaiti Cultural Bureau/Ministry of Higher Education https://moe.edu.kw/
  • For prospective students applying from South East Asia please contact Study Ireland in our Malaysia Office by email (office@iumcireland.com
  • For prospective students from Singapore,  please contact Linda Chen in IUMC Singapore lindachen@regiongroup.com.sg
