Returning to Studies

It is the policy and desire of NUI, Galway that any student who leaves before the completion of their course, would be facilitated to return to University to complete their studies, whenever this is possible. Following the procedure for withdrawing from the University facilitates returning to NUI, Galway.

However, it should be noted that it may not always be possible to return to complete a course. This can be due to a number of factors such as a change in the provision or structure of a particular course, a change in eligibility requirements or insufficient attainment in exams previously undertaken. Advice and support on returning to NUI, Galway in such circumstances can be sought from:

· The Student Information Desk, Áras Uí Chathail

· College or School Office

· The Graduate Studies Office
