What is Úrsmaointe?

Úrsmaointe is NUI Galway’s staff suggestion scheme. It aims to encourage and reward innovation among University staff—a secondary aim is to improve communications. The scheme is open and non-restrictive in welcoming ideas which will have a positive impact on the University community as a whole.

An annual prize of €1000, and an engraved trophy, is awarded to the staff member whose idea is deemed to have contributed most to the University community.
