Sharon Coyle joined Whitaker Institute as a recipient of a PhD Studentship in 2008. She currently lectures Information Systems to undergraduate and postgraduate students at NUIG and has given numerous guest lectures. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Masters of Business Studies (MBS) for which she has received academic awards of excellence. Her research to-date has allowed opportunities to present at leading conferences including the International Conference in Information Systems (ICIS) and the European Conference in Information Systems (ECIS). Prior to joining Whitaker Institute, Sharon was a management consultant with Accenture for three years where she worked on a variety of high-profile projects for government bodies and financial services institutes. Sharon is a member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS).
