POPULATION AND MIGRATION RESEARCH NETWORK INAUGURAL SEMINAR
NUI GALWAY, AUGUST 30TH 2012

The seminar will provide a forum for the discussion of key contemporary theoretical, methodological and policy issues in the field of children and family studies focusing particularly on issues of wellbeing and ethics. Dr. Kiris Pauliina Kallio’s research examines the political geographies of childhood and youth, engaging with issues relating to political agency and subjectivity. Professor Chris Hamnett is a leading researcher in the fields of social polarization, welfare and inequality, with a recent focus on education and school choice in London.

This event is supported by the Institute for Business, Social Sciences and Public Policy at NUI Galway.
