The Women's Studies Centre at the National University of Ireland, Galway, was established in 1988 to facilitate teaching, research, publishing, consultancy and awareness in Women's Studies, feminism and gender related issues at NUI-Galway in particular and in Ireland in general.
Directory of Women’s Groups and Service Providers in Ireland
The Centre assembled a useful directory of women's groups and service providers in Ireland. Contributors to the Directory included, Vivienne Batt, Marie Smart, Alan Hayes, Anna Katharina Pelkner, Larrie Walker, Helen Stump, Sinead Coyne, and Rebecca Pelan. It was last updated in 2006.
