Research Interests

• Marine Ecology:-  I am interested in population level studies in many different groups ranging from zooplankton and macro invertebrates to fish (and fisheries)
• Climate Change:-  Examining regional scale impacts of climate change on Irish rocky shores using macroinvertebrate or algal indicator species, particularly barnacles. Also, looking for these impacts in Irish shelf seas using zooplankton communities
• Barnacles in general:- Including life cycles of less well-known species and structure especially with respect to the cement apparatus which controls the ability of barnacles to conduct 'wet adhesion'
