Abstract
Entomopathogenic nematodes - nematode-bacterial symbioses that kill and multiply in insects- occur widely in nature and are also used as biological pest control agents. Understanding the nematodes' foraging and infection strategies, and their association with bacterial symbionts, can contribute to improving their efficacy as biocontrol agents, while exploring unusal aspects of their sex life raises broader questions about the cost of sperm.
