Research Interests

My research interests centre on advancing value-based healthcare delivery models and digital health technologies, with a particular emphasis on creating more patient-centric systems in the healthcare industry. I have developed a comprehensive framework aimed at enhancing decision-making processes in health services, which incorporates a thorough assessment of patients' informational needs, the establishment of design principles for decision-support systems such as decision aid dashboards, and studies into the adoption of such technologies by healthcare professionals and patients. This approach not only facilitates evidence-based and value-driven decision-making but also fosters a collaborative environment with stakeholders like patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring their voices are integral to technology development and policy-making.

Additionally, I am actively involved in applying qualitative and computational text analysis methods, such as AI and deep learning, to analyse patient feedback on healthcare services. This research contributes to improving patient-centred care by developing tools that help policymakers and healthcare providers make informed decisions based on real-world data. These tools include policy briefs and decision aid dashboards, which are instrumental in refining healthcare delivery and enhancing patient satisfaction.

My research interests are Health Information Technology/Systems; Value-Based Healthcare; Person-Centred Care; Digital Government/Health; Data-driven Innovation; and Human-Computer Interaction.
