Sport is central to life at NUI Galway. NUI Galway’s outstanding sports facilities include a state-of-the-art Sports Centre with:
- a national basketball arena and sports hall
- a 25 metre swimming pool with movable floor
- an elite 130 piece gym
- a high-tech climbing wall.
Outdoor facilities include natural grass playing pitches, flood lit synthetic grass pitches and an athletics track. There is always dedicated support for elite sports here at NUI Galway.
