Biography

My PhD research was in the area of dyslexia, brain behaviour and associated issues.  This work resulted in a co-authored book, six research talks, five research papers, three conference proceedings and a number of book chapters and reviews.   My recent research interests have focused on health, women’s counselling and gender equality in the workplace. In my current position as Administrative Director in the Health Promotion Research Centre I have particular responsibility for managing research accounts, assisting with the preparation of research proposals and liaising with the University and external agencies in supporting the management of projects. I co-ordinate the Centre’s activities - conferences (national and international), workshops and seminars; and the promotion of the Centre.
