Welcome

Mary Cairns is the Student Advisor in the College of Arts, Social Sciences, & Celtic Studies, and provides support for students during their time at university. The role of the Student Advisor is to provide confidential, non-judgmental support and an empathetic space for students to share their concerns. In addition, a student advisor can offer personal support and advice on topics such as study planning, time management and any personal challenges that may compromise their ability to study.

Overall, the goal of a student advisor is to empower students to reach their full potential and succeed in their academic journey. If at any time a student is feeling overwhelmed or needs help getting back on track, your student advisor is there to help, do not hesitate to get in contact.
