Biography

I graduated from Trinity College Dublin with an honours degree in 'Natural Sciences' in which I specialised in Microbiology during the final two years.  I worked for 3 years as a nutrition sales specialist and for 15 years as a medical sales representative for a major pharmaceutical company based in the west of Ireland.  I completed a Masters in Applied Science-Enterprise Systems at NUI Galway in 2012-2013.  I started the PhD journey in October 2015.  I am married to a Clare man, have 4 adult children and live in Salthill.

 

Research

Research Interests

I am currently working on research in the areas of Innovation, Ambidexterity, The Management of Conflict and Tension, Project Portfolio Management and Management Control Systems.  I am working with two supervisors : Professor Breda Sweeney from the Cairnes School of Business and Dr. Kathryn Cormican from the School of Engineering and Informatics.
