Semester 2 Examinations 2020/21 (last updated on 26/04/21)

As advised by Prof Ciarán Ó hÓgartaigh, NUI Galway President on 23rd March 2020, all face-to-face end of year exams have been cancelled at NUI Galway in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak and will be replaced though alternative assessments.

Important Dates (from the Exams Office)

  • The Semester 2 examination session runs from May 18th to June 4th 2021
  • The Semester 2 Timetable release date is April 8th @ 12pm.
  • The Exam Timetable Amendments page will available from the April 8th.

Students are required to read these guidelines carefully. It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with the requirements when submitting your exam scripts.

As per the Registrar’s email sent to all students on the 27th of March, students are expected to adhere to the highest standards of integrity and honesty when completing assessments at NUI Galway. Module Leaders reserve the right to follow up with a student by interview if there is any concern in relation to the integrity of the assessment. Any irregularities of conduct may be reported to the Exam Security Group as provided for in ‘Procedures for dealing with Breaches of Examination Regulations’
