Dr Tony Hall, Lecturer in Educational Technology, School of Education and Visiting Scholar in the Faculty of Education, University of Hull recently delivered a seminar on design-based research (DBR), and its potential in the conceptualisation, deployment and evaluation of technology-enhanced learning.

Tony's talk positioned design-based research as a contemporary research methodology in education, and exemplified DBR in practice.  His visit has focused on further developing research collaborations between the School of Education, NUI Galway and the Faculty of Education, University of Hull, particularly in the design of mobile learning in education.
