Sona Systems Research Participation

Research participants and researchers refer to the to access the Sona website.

First Year Tutorial Registration

Student will be asked to register for psychology tutorials in week 3 of term. Tutorial sign up with take place on Blackboard. Please check your UoG email regularly for information on psychology classes and sign-up details.

First Year Psychology Timetable Sem 1 2023-2024

Modules

PS122 Introduction to Psychology I 
(Semester 1, 5 ECTs). This module covers Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Psychology of Learning and is assessed by an exam.

PS124 Introduction to Psychology II 
(Semester 2, 5 ECTs). This module covers Social Psychology, Biological Psychology and Personality Psychology and is assessed by an exam.

PS137 Introduction to Research Methods in Psychology (module for BA Connect students only)
(Semester 1 and 2, 5 ECTs). Delivered one hour a week for nine weeks in Semester 1 and 2 in lecture theatre. This module is assessed by one exam in Semester 1 and one exam in Semester 2.

PS1103 Introduction to Research Methods and Practical Skills in Psychology (module for GY101 and GY104 students only) 

(Semester 1 and 2, 10 ECTs). Delivered one-two (variable) hours a week for nine weeks in Semester 1 and 2 in lecture theatre. This module is assessed by one continuous assessment in Semester 1, one exam in Semester 1 and one exam in Semester 2.
