Learning Outcomes
- Define research terminology
- Assess published research in the ECEC area
- Develop research questions that are based on and build upon a critical appraisal of existing research
- Identify the methods best suited for investigating different types of research problems and questions
- Design and plan a research study in the ECEC field
- Use qualitative and quantitative research methodologies correctly to conduct research
- Act professionally and ethically when undertaking research
- Carry out a literature review on a topic in the ECEC area
- Present your research in the required report format
