Sally Ann Cryan is Associate Professor of Pharmaceutics and Research Lead in the School of Pharmacy, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Her research group focuses on translational drug delivery and bioengineering including the application and processing of biomaterials for drug delivery and tissue engineering applications.
Dr Martin O'Halloran
Dr Martin O'Halloran is a European Research Council (ERC), CÚRAM and Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) Investigator at the National University of Ireland Galway. His research explores the use of low-power electromagnetic waves for medical imaging and therapeutic applications. He is the 2016 recipient of Science Foundation Ireland’s Early Career Researcher Award.
Dr Jessamyn Fairfield
My research is about building neuromorphic nanoelectronic devices, whose function mimics the adaptability and timing dependence of synaptic connections in the brain. The eventual clinical target is creating implantable neurormorphic sensors that can interact with real neurons.
Dr Mary Murphy
Dr Mary Murphy is Principal Investigator, Orthobiology at REMEDI and Funded Investigator at CÚRAM. Her primary research interest and motivation is the development of innovative medicines to treat major diseases using adult stem cells.
Dr Eoin O'Cearbhaill
Dr Eoin O’Cearbhaill is Director of the UCD Medical Device Design Group. His research is focused on developing novel medical device and minimally invasive platforms for biosignal sensing and therapeutic delivery towards clinical translation.
