Olivier P. Thomas (University of Galway) is a lecturer in Marine Biodiscovery at the School of Chemistry, and coordinator of the National Marine Biodiscovery Laboratory with the Marine Institute, Oranmore. His research is focused on the search for new biomolecules from the marine environment with applications in different fields like food science, cosmetics, therapeutics and medical devices.
